NottinghamLIVE Radio Show: Sessions – March 2013

As we approach the end of the first calendar year of the NottinghamLIVE Radio Show we’re uploading the live sessions that have taken place during the year, you can check out February’s selection here, while the sessions that took place in March can be enjoyed below.

First up in March was the excellent ONEGIRLONEBOY, made up of former members of Patchwork Grace, this duo had only been together since the previous autumn but were already making a huge mark in Nottingham having landed the prize at the inaugural Notts Factor event and being picked out by DHP as Ones to Watch in 2013. Find out why below:

Following that was PREFONTAINE, one of Steve’s big Hot Picks on the Nottingham scene, the band – who sadly have since gone their separate ways – came in and gave us a great performance.

Steve was out of town, visiting that their London, the following week, with Captain Dangerous front man Adam Clarkson stepping in as a guest host, the live guest that week was Adam’s recommendation, Beeston singer-songwriter EMMA BLADON-JONES, a brilliant musician who wowed us with a fantastic performance.

Our final guest in March was the wonderful JOSH KEMP who was on fine form both on and off the mic when he came in, as well as a great performance Josh was a natural in the studio happily chatting away quickly establishing himself as a show favourite – and being noted down as a future guest host on the show.

Sadly the Josh Kemp session was lost in the ether so we can’t make it available for you here, however you can check out a live video recording of him performing his track First & Last in the studio.
