Bourbon & Blues – The Orange Tree – Wednesday 18 February

The Orange Tree is the place to be on Wednesday for some good ol’ blues and rock and roll (not to mention a good shot of bourbon).

The North Sherwood Street pub has teamed up with the folks at I’m Not From London to put on a night of fine music and fine drinks to help you break up the working week.

Live music this month comes courtesy of a trio of great acts.

BOWMAN & HULL are an ace Nottingham blue duo, the band backed up by the excellent ‘Instant Band’ released their debut album last year and produce great rhythm and rock and roll blues that are sure to have you up dancing.

Fairly new on the Nottingham scene is LOUIS ANTONIOU. A third year student at NTU Louis is aiming to make his mark in the music industry thanks to his enjoyable acoustic/blues sound.

Finally comes PAUL NOSE, which is the stage name of Nottingham based Italian Francesco Recchia (aka Keccore’) who has performed music across the globe over the past two decades.

As well as great music there are also great drinks deals with Happy Hour kicking off at 8pm when you can get a pound off all cocktails, bottles of Sol for £2.50 and all house spirits and wines for £2.50.
