IKE Productions, the hard working promoters behind the Macmillan Fest (more news on that here), have announced details on two more Notts festivals taking place this year.
First up is DEGENERATION FESTIVAL, which will take place at the Boat and Horses in Beeston over the August Bank Holiday weekend, offering up three days of glam, sleaze, punk and rock and roll.
Headline acts for the festival are TREATMENT (Friday), JETTBLACK (Saturday) and STOP STOP (Sunday).
Other acts announced for the line up, so far, are TEENAGE CASKET COMPANY, PATRIOT REBEL, EVA PLAYS DEAD, WILDSIDE RIOT, ESTRELLA, NEW GENERATION SUPERSTARS, LAST GREAT DREAMERS, WILDTHORN and THE IDOL DEAD.
There will also be two bars, podium dancers, stalls and more, it’s open to all ages and camping will be available.
Tickets for this are £15 until July 1st (£7.50 for under 14’s) and a camping pitch is just £5 per person (£10 per person for caravan’s). We reckon this looks like a great line up and it’s fantastic to see a big festival like this taking place in Beeston – heck, the tram might even be up and running by then!

The second festival announced by the IKE team is the NOTTS POP PUNK FEST which is taking place at The Maze on July 18, this sees IKE teaming up with JB Trent Records for a day of, well pop punk, at one of the city’s best live music venues.
Headlining the main stage will be Manchester band MILESTONES, plus sets from HIGHLIVES, FALLING UPSTAIRS, WEAK KNEES, PACK MENTALITY and ON THE OPEN ROAD.
Meanwhile the acoustic stage will feature ARTHUR WALWIN, RESTROOMS, REQUIN BLANC, SAY THE WORD, TUESDAY COOPER and LAUREN APRIL.
Tickets for this are a bargain £6 in advance, and £7 on the door.

So there you go, another two fantastic festivals from the IKE Production team (and friends), what’s more we have worked out that, if you buy all your tickets in advance, you can catch no fewer than SIXTY TWO acts for just £32 – that’s Macmillan Fest, Notts Pop Punk Fest and Degeneration Fest. That sounds pretty darn cool to us.
