Food: The Big Treat event at the Victoria Centre and Broadmarsh.

Shoppers at the Broadmarsh and Victoria Centre could be in for a tasty treat this weekend as both centres will be offering a number of unexpected surprise in store – including free food!

The two day ‘Big Treat’ event is part of owner intu’s campaign across its 15 centres offering a number of discounts, freebies and experiences encouraging customers to try something new and treat themselves.

Amy Dibble, marketing communications manager for both centres said: “The Big Treat will be a lovely experience for our customers, as they will be able to try something new, taste something different and hopefully get themselves a little treat whilst they are here!”

“At both intu Broadmarsh and intu Victoria Centre we have a great variety of shops, experiences and food on offer, and we hope The Big Treat event will help people to find new things to try. We are encouraging our shoppers to look out for #ATreatADay on our Facebook pages to be in with the chance of winning something every day throughout May – as an extra special treat!”

Throughout the event, shoppers at intu Victoria Centre will be able to nibble on free culinary delights from local retailers and restaurants, including Chiquitos, Costa Coffee, Loch Fyne and Masarella’s.

Fantastic free events will be taking place for children too at the Broadmarsh, including workshops of creating treat kebabs workshop on Saturday 16th and cupcake decorating on Sunday 17th

Central College Nottingham will be handing out free goody bags to shoppers at Broadmarsh throughout the weekend and shoppers will be able to grab free popcorn at BHS and samples from UK Deli-Cious

intu will not only be treating its shoppers, but will also be hosting a food bank both centres for local charity Hope Nottingham –collecting non-perishable food during every weekend in May.
