THIS month (13 October) intu honoured top retailers in Nottingham during its first ever Retailer Awards held at Revolution Hockley.
Over 3,500 customers from across the region voted for their favourite retailers from both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh, with winners being awarded the top accolades during the evening.
Both Topman and Topshop were awarded Most Loved Men’s Fashion and Most Loved Women’s Fashion while Office won the accolade of Best for Shoes. Boots at intu Victoria Centre was awarded Best for Health and Beauty and Pandora won Best for Jewellery and Accessories, the title of Best Specialist Store was awarded to KRCS and Best for Coffee and Cake was awarded to Costa Coffee.
The title of Most Loved Children’s Retailer was awarded to the Disney Store while Clock Tower dining restaurant, Tortilla won a hat trick of awards including: Most Loved Restaurant, Best for Customer Service andNewcomer of the Year.
Nigel Wheatley, marketing manager for intu in Nottingham, said: “The Retailer Awards recognise the very best stores across both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh and we are delighted so many of our customers voted in the run up to the event.
“We would like to congratulate all our retailers and we hope the winners showcase their awards with pride. We are already looking forward to next year’s event.”
Staff from both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh also voted for retailers in four surprise categories:intu Victoria Centre Best Window Display was awarded to Yankee Store, intu Broadmarsh Best Window Displaywas awarded to independent store, Made in Nottingham. intu Victoria Centre Best Retailer was awarded to Pandora, and intu Broadmarsh Best Retailer was awarded to Thorntons.
