Review: Rob Lamberti – Celebrating The Music And Songs Of George Michael

Rarely do I revisit a tribute show, however when the opportunity came up to review Rob Lamberti at The Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham last Saturday, I didn’t hesitate.

I knew within seconds of the performance that we were in for a treat from a man who has dedicated his life to paying homage to George Michael.

Hit after hit, be it a powerful ballad or catchy pop tune we danced, sang and the occasional nostalgic tear even surfaced as the magical memories rolled back and transported us back to a time when George dominated the charts and the world’s stage.

A packed auditorium played its part joining in. Rob is uncanny in resemblance, but more importantly, with his vocal was so touching…close your eyes and it was the unmistakable sound of George himself… 5-star performance
