Next Saturday see’s the Nottingham Philharmonic Orchestra (NPO) perform their family concert “Come Fly with Us!”
Children and adults alike are in for a treat with “all manner of birds, insects, planes, aliens & superheroes…flying around the Royal Concert Hall…featuring Ride of the Walkyries, Flight of the Bumble Bee, Spitfire Prelude and Fugue & John Williams’ fabulous film themes for Superman, ET and Harry Potter. All that plus everyone’s favourite flying car, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and guest presenter Ken Bruce.
There’s some good deals on ticket prices for families and groups of 10 or more (the latter are only bookable through NPO, though standard family tickets can be booked direct with the TRCH). The NPO are also running a competition alongside the concert and anyone who attends will have the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win a family pass to the Warner Brothers “World of Harry Potter” studio tour.
