Preview: Beat the Streets Festival

North Notts rockers Ferocious Dog will headline this year’s BEAT THE STREETS FESTIVAL, which returns on Sunday 29 January at multiple venues across the city centre.

Beat the Streets is the annual charity festival that raises funds to support local homelessness charity Framework to help the organisation deal with the rising homelessness crisis – sinch launching in 2018 the event has raised a staggering £320,000, helping Framework to employ additional staff and to open its Sneinton Hermitage shelter all year round, enabling to accommodate more than 60 high-risk service users.

Joining Ferocious Dog, who themselves are known for their work supporting vulnerable people, including collecting foodbank donations at their sell-out Rock City shows, will be over fifty fantastic acts across five venues – Rock City, Rescue Rooms, The Bodega, Stealth, and Rough Trade. 

Among the acts you can catch will be ALT BLK ERA, ARCH FEMMESIS, DIVORCE, GEORGE GADD + THE AFTERMATH, GIRLBAND, HERDS, JACK WOLFF + TY HEALEY, LACEY, LAWNMOWER DETH, PALM READER, STUART PEARCE, TASH BIRD, THE CHASE and UNKNOWN ERA, plus many many more. 

With such a fantastic lineup and pick-your-price tickets available from just £10, the event will be looking to top last year’s amount raised – a stunning £75,000.
