Notts comic heading back on the road

Nottingham-based comic Scott Bennett is heading back out on the road with his hugely successful stand-up show Great Scott and there’s a Nottingham date included. The 2023 dates kick off with two sold-out shows in Stourbridge on January 25, before heading out across the country, before playing Selby Town Hall on June 11, the tour then picks up again on October 13 in Stafford before culminating at Bradford’s Alhambra Theatre Studio on November 11. Scott will be back in Nottingham for a show at Just the Tonic on February 25.

Scott Bennett is heading back out on the road.

After deciding to go full-time with his comedy back in 2018, Scott shot to prominence during the lockdown when he launched Stand up from the Shed a weekly live comedy stream from his garden shed, the success of the show helped land Scott a spot on BBC’s Live at the Apollo and even saw him feature in an advert for Nationwide Building Society and, when live gigging became allowed again he hit the road with his biggest tour to date.

Last year also saw Scott launch a podcast alongside his wife Jemma, Brew with the Bennetts, is a fun-filled chat and comedy podcast that is sure to brighten up your week and you can check it out here.

You can also check out when Scott appeared on our podcast series NOTTS WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT back in 2018 here.
