NottinghamLIVE Radio Show – Preview – 24 July 2013

Splendour has been and gone but it’s still festival season here in Nottingham and there’s two great ones taking place this weekend.

DEERSTOCK, which is raising funds for Help for Heroes, takes place at the Reindeer Inn, East Bridgford over the weekend with the likes of Ferocious Dog, Amber Herd, Leah Sinead, The Gorgeous Chans, Lee Gough and LeeTabix among the Nottingham acts performing.

Festival organiser JED SOUTHGATE will be popping in for a chat about things along with former Notts Live hosts Bainy and Andy who are compering proceedings over the weekend.

Saturday also sees the return of the WATERFRONT FESTIVAL at the Canalhouse, run by INFL and Audacious Face this festival costs just a fiver and will feature three stages of Nottingham music including First Blood, Harleighblu, Breadchasers, Great British Weather, Josh Kemp and Seas of Mirth. The event raises money for two great local charities, the Nottingham Hospitals Charity and Framework. We’ll be playing tracks from some of the bands that will be playing throughout the day and chatting more about it.

We’re also hoping to be joined by a live studio guest – details yet to be confirmed and – if time permits – may even have a chat about the brilliant Splendour festival and some of the brilliant Nottingham performances we saw.

So make sure you tune in to the NottinghamLIVE Radio Show, this Wednesday, 7-10pm, only on Trent Sound
