NottinghamLIFE: ANNUAL CHARITY NIGHT TO HELP GRANT WISHES FOR SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN

Ladies having fun and supporting WYWUAS at 2015's Ladies Night

CHARITABLE women from across Nottinghamshire are being encouraged to sign up for When You Wish Upon a Star’s (WYWUAS) exclusive ladies night next month (11 March).

The annual event aims to provide an evening of entertainment for local ladies while fundraising to support WYWUAS’s work to grant the wishes of children living with life threatening illnesses, creating special memories for the children and their families.

The ladies only evening will be taking place at The Crowne Plaza in Nottingham, with tickets costing £40 per person. Guests will enjoy a three course meal and surprise entertainment.

Regional fundraising manager, Karen Martt, said: “Every year our ladies’ night is popular event, providing friends and families with the opportunity to come together and have a girl’s night out.

“The funds raised from the evening will help us to continue granting wishes for seriously ill children, which is at the heart of everything we do. We hope plenty of ladies decide to get involved and I’m sure everyone who comes along will have a fantastic evening.

Throughout 2017, WYWUAS will be hosting a number of fundraising initiatives which will encourage local people to have fun and raise much needed funds to help grant wishes.

Future fundraising events include: the weeklong Coffee and Cake event and Where is Wish Bear – a campaign which encourages people to take their very own Wish Bear on trips across the globe.
