Happy Monday’s legend Bez is among the latest guests announced for his years Em-Con, the performer who is also a member of Black Grape and was the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 3, will be appearing on Sunday June 11 at the convention which takes place at Nottingham Motorpoint Arena.
Also announced for the event is Will Mellor, best known as one of the stars of Two Pints of Larger and a Packet of Crisps. Mellor who appeared at the convention last year and was a semi-finalist in the latest season of Strictly Come Dancing, will be a guest on Saturday 10th. Also appearing on the Saturday will be Em-Con favourite Chris Barrie, best known for his roles as Rimmer in cult-classic Red Dwarf and Gordan Brittas in comedy Brittas Empire.
The trio join as guest list that also includes Barrie’s Red Dwarf co-stars Danny John-Jules and Chloe Arnett, former Doctor Who Colin Baker, Game of Thrones’ Julian Glover and Joseph Marcell, best known for playing the wise-cracking butler to the Banks’ family in 90’s sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
With many more guests and attractions still to come, as well as a host of traders, Em-Con is once again shaping up to be another fantastic convention – and that’s before even mentioning the always fantastic cosplay competition.
