Expect great gin, brilliant music and a lot of fun as the UK’s largest Gin Festival finally comes to Nottingham.

Taking place at the Nottingham Conference Centre on Burton Street in the city, Gin Festival.com, the UK’s original, biggest and best gin festival, will be showcasing over 100 different gins!  On arrival guests will be handed a Festival glass (to take home!) and a brochure, full of information on all the gins they can try, a little about each company and the suggested garnish.

If you’ve ever visited the beer festival, the gin festival works in a similar way, guests will need drinks tokens to buy the gin which will be available at the front desk. These are £5 per drink and include tonic and a fresh garnish.

Welcoming everyone, from gin novices to connoisseurs, the event offers live entertainment, talks from gin industry experts about the history of Britain’s favourite spirit , food will be available to buy from local vendors, plus there will be lot’s of chit chat with other gin lovers, or if you’re new to gin don’t worry, friendly staff will be on-hand to recommend a few to get you going or tell you all about their favourites.

Gin Festival.com is the baby of husband and wife team Jym and Marie Harris. It began in 2012 when they realised there was no festival out there that reflected their own deep love for gin, and so they started one themselves. From humble beginnings (the first event had only 150 people) Gin Festival.com has grown massively alongside the UK gin market and now hosts events for 4000 people over two days.

Founder Jym Harris said: “We absolutely love gin, so we started these events because we thought other people would want the same as us. We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive reception and it’s been fantastic to see so many people rediscover this amazing drink.”

Tickets are available from ginfestival.com at £7.50 per adult and include one of Gin Festival.com’s iconic copa glasses, free to take home. Food will be available from local vendors.
