Under the Tree…OXJAM – The Malt Cross – 24 October 2013

The Under the Tree team have established a fine reputation for putting on fantastic live gigs throughout the year and this October will be no different, with the exception of one show taking place this month.

The UTT team will head over to the sometimes-home of The Malt Cross for a special Oxjam charity night on the 24th October with the aim to raise as much money as possible for Oxfam’s music festival arm.

As is the way with Under the Tree the actual festival is entirely free to enter there will be donation boxes around for you to throw some change into and the aim is to try and raise at least a hundred pound on the night. There will even be a special code available which will enable you to text a donation of £3 to the charity – which, let’s face it, isn’t even the price of a pint in this day and age.

Of course no amount of great causes and good deeds would work without a stellar line up and, as always, the Under the Tree team have delivered, though not fully announced yet… they do like to tease us these folks, the names already released are enough in themselves to get you down to the show.

BAND OF JACKALS will be on hand and will no doubt have the whole place rocking, one of the best bands on the scene these guys are just, quite frankly, awesome, as anyone who has been to any of their shows will attest.

Also on the line up will be young singer CONNOR SPRAY and Welsh band NORTHING NORTH OF ALASKA will be kicking things off.

With more acts still to be announced this promises to be a great night of live music from the awesome UTT team – and all for a great cause.

So why not get on down, enjoy some fantastic music, a great atmosphere and, while you’re at it, chuck a couple of quid in the old collection tin.
