Review: Ross Noble – Royal Concert Hall

Ross Noble finally bought his pandemic hit current tour to Nottingham and, it is safe to say, it was worth the wait.

This was exactly the kind of erratic, fast paced show that anyone familiar with Ross would expect, with the performer often veering off from one story to another.
There was plenty of audience participation – though I’m still wondering about why one audience member was playing with x-ray’s before coming to the show? We never did get the answer to that on.
While there was never really a theme to the show Ross did tell some great stories about life during the pandemic and living between the UK and Australia, his story about getting a sign language interpreter to do a rude phrase was amusing while his story about an unfortunate incident involving a hotel lift, cycling shorts, his bicycle and some bemused guests was a highlight.

This was a hugely enjoyable show from one of the countries top comments and my sides are still hurting from laughter as I type this.

Ross Noble appeared at the Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on Thursday 4 November. You can follow Ross on Twitter here. For all the latest shows at the Royal Concert Hall click here
