Yes maybe we were out of place last night at the Royal Centre Nottingham for the annual festival of hip hop, but that did not stop us being amazed at the physicality and dance skills of the performers.
Stand outs were the Soweto Skeleton Movers; they were extremely entertaining, their complex moves and the joy of showing off their immense talent was amazing to behold. The hat tricks and comedic contortionism of went down a storm with the mostly young audience.
Other performers were more local Take I Dance, for example, and the gorgeous duet of James (10) and his sister Paige (12) performing to Lukas Grahams ‘7 years’ was memorable.
