SHOPPERS across Nottingham are being asked to nominate their favourite shops, cafes and restaurants as part of the intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh Retailer Awards 2017.
Last year 4,000 customers across the region voted for their favourite retailers from both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh ahead of the inaugural awards ceremony in the city.
This year’s awards will recognise the very best stores across both intu shopping centres in Nottingham with categories including: Most Loved Men’s Fashion, Food and Drink Retailer of the Year, Best for Shoes and World Class Customer Service
Voting is now open on each centre’s website and will close on 31 August with the winners announced at a ceremony in October.
Nigel Wheatley, general manager for the intu shopping centres in Nottingham, said: “The Retailer Awards went down a storm last year and we were overwhelmed by the response of our customers. Through these awards we are looking to recognise the very best stores across both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh and we are excited to see which retailers will take home the gold later this year.
“Customers can place their votes by visiting the intu Victoria Centre or intu Broadmarsh website and they may even win one of five £50 intu Gift Cards for taking part.”
Alongside votes from the public both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh will also award a prize for the overall Retailer of the Year at each centre.
Voting categories for the Retailer Awards include: Most Loved Men’s Fashion, Most Loved Women’s Fashion, Best for Shoes, Best Jewellery and Accessories, Best Health and Beauty Retailer, Best Specialist Retailer, World Class Customer Service, Most Loved Children’s Retailer, Manager of the Year for both centres, Food and Drink Retailer of the Year and Best Technology Retailer.
