Staff at Nottingham-based PR and digital marketing agency Cartwright Communications have cleared out their wardrobes in support of a charity campaign being run by intu Broadmarsh.

The shopping centre is collecting unwanted clothing and shoes for two charities with a special ‘giving box’ located at on the lower mall as part of its celebration of all things fashion this autumn.

Donations are being collected until 10 October and will be split between Extra Care and the British Heart Foundation, which both have shops within the centre.

Account director at Cartwright Communications, Annie Brafield, said: “We are celebrating our tenth anniversary as a business this year and supporting a number of good causes locally is one of the ways in which we are making this milestone.

“We are a very charitable bunch here at Cartwright and the team jumped at the opportunity to give some of their unwanted items a new home and do their bit for these two fantastic charities.”

Adam Tamsett, general manager at intu Broadmarsh, added: “The team at Cartwright Communications has been really generous in their donation, which will make a big difference to both of the charities we are supporting.

“We are really pleased that we are able to give something back to the local community as part of our Autumn/Winter fashion celebrations.

“We have used our huge giving boxes for the last couple of years and have always been over whelmed with the response from our customers and we are proud to be supporting the British Heart Foundation and Extra Care, both based at intu Broadmarsh.”

The giving box will be located on the lower mall at intu Broadmarsh until 10 October.
