Clocktower dining at intu Victoria Centre

THIS half term (23 – 29 October) children from across Nottinghamshire are being invited to take part in fun and free-ky activities at intu Victoria Centre.

Little monsters will be able to discover their magical name, create their own potions and cast spells before graduating as fully-fledged witches or wizards from intu Victoria Centre’s special ‘magic school’ which will be open at the centre throughout half term.

The week will end with a big trick or treat on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October, where children are invited to dress up and collect treats from participating retailers at intu Victoria Centre.

Hosted by intu Victoria Centre in Nottingham as well as 14 other intu centres, the trick or treat event is delivered in partnership with top retailers and restaurants displaying pumpkin stickers in their windows to show they are taking part. Trick or treaters who take part in the event, will also be treated to fangtastic free face painting.

Nigel Wheatley, general manager at intu Victoria Centre said: “Our free family-friendly Halloween activities are a brilliant way to help keep the kids amused during the school holidays – without spending a penny or facing the elements when you go out trick or treating.

“That’s why we’re looking forward to putting smiles on the faces of hundreds of mini witches and wizards this half term with our fun-packed week of free activities and our big trick or treat event.”

The events on offer are:

  • Monday 23 – Friday 27 October: Witch and Wizard magic school at 11am – 4pm, on the lower mall at intu Victoria Centre near John Lewis and Boots
  • Saturday 28 – Sunday 29 October: The big trick or treat at intu Victoria Centre

Activities are free, with no booking required and are open to all ages, but are particularly suitable for children in pre-school and early years.
