Yesterday we gave you a glimpse into the huge selection of food stalls, bars and restaurants that you’ll be able to check out this weekend at the Great Notts Show, however when it comes to food that’s not all on offer, the event will also feature a Cookery Tent with a host of demonstrations from top local chef’s across the weekend.

It all kicks off at 12.30pm Friday with a display from George Ktori of Mediterranean restaurant Yamas who will present a demonstration on Greek specialties.

At 1.30pm Johnny Pusztai, arguably Nottingham’s most famous butcher, will give a Sausage demonstration, this is set to be a hugely popular demonstration as people clamour to find out how Johnny produces his award winning sausages.

Craig Floate will give a demonstration at 2.30pm producing Pan seared scallop, pork belly, truffled cauliflower puree, creamed cabbage, roast baby beets with a rich cider jus, and I am sure you’ll agree, that sounds delicious.

At 3.30pm will be a demonstration by Steve Durham before finally, wrapping things up on the Friday at 4.30pm will be Amita Sawnhey, owner of festival sponsors Memsaab who will give a demonstration on Indian live cooking with specialty curries.
