Box Property secures Birmingham site for Clean Cut Kitchen

National retail and leisure commercial property agent, Box Property, has secured Nottingham based Clean Cut Kitchen’s third premises at the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, Snow Hill.

Set to open in January 2019, the 174 sq m property; One Snowhill, will offer Clean Cut Kitchen access to mainline rail services as well as an endless list of leisure, retail and business opportunities. Birmingham will be the first city outside of Nottingham that the company has introduced a store in.

Clean Cut Kitchen offers a contemporary restaurant and take-out service where customers can enjoy none-processed, whole, fast foods on the go, it also offers a bespoke meal preparation service designed to help its customers achieve their lifestyle and fitness goals.

Clean Cut Kitchen opened its first restaurant on Derby Road in Nottingham in 2017 and only earlier this year the brand announced its second store at INTU Victoria Centre in the city.

Following strong openings and brand recognition, the opening of the Birmingham restaurant is the start of a national roll out.

Box Property founders Ben Tebbutt and Frankie Labbate began working with new client Clean Cut Kitchen as part of its mission to promote quality independent operators, and to help the business realise the potential of its brand and product nationally.

Frankie said: “We are really pleased to be on this exciting new expansion journey with Clean Cut Kitchen which is both a strong product and brand, is relevant to today’s lifestyles and has potential for large scale growth nationwide. Our client’s brand, product and passion are the driving force behind the team’s success so far.

“When Clean Cut Kitchen approached us about securing something in another territory for them outside of the East Midlands, I knew Box Property could add value and help. Through our extensive network of industry contacts, market knowledge and numerous visits to Birmingham to scope out a property that suited Clean Cut Kitchen’s needs, we were soon able to secure a great new premises for them in a vibrant location in a competitive bid process.

“As with its two Nottingham sites, we know Clean Cut Kitchen will be very well received in Birmingham. Whilst the city does have a really strong food and drink offering, there is a gap in the market for such a relevant and on trend brand such as Clean Cut Kitchen, offering healthy fast food alternatives to the run of the mill options currently on offer.”

Clean Cut Kitchen, which is a concept created by Nottingham friends Antonio Vendone and James Irons, who also own an artisan pizza bar in Nottingham, called Suede, will bring 25 new jobs to Birmingham with the opening of its new kitchen.

Antonio said: “We are excited to be bringing our concept to Birmingham’s active, body conscious, and healthy patrons who want a tastier, nutritionally balanced way to dine in or take-out in the city.

“Our team is made up of nutritional experts and chefs who are passionate about clean eating, and whilst Birmingham has a thriving food and drink scene already, we saw a gap in the market for our offering in the region.

“The property is located opposite Pure Gym and within Birmingham’s Business District, so it’s perfect for those wanting something that tastes great, is healthy and quick to collect. Our brand isn’t just for people who go to the gym regularly, it’s for people who want to be more conscious about their eating habits and to enjoy a healthier lifestyle.

“Whilst we are growing rapidly, it is important to us to continue to offer our customers an enjoyable dining experience in an easy to access location. Box Property have been very understanding throughout the process of helping us find a distinctive property that suited our needs in Birmingham and we’re really pleased with what they have found us.”
