Get ready for fun fun fun for foodies as the Nottingham Food & Drink Festival returns for its fourth year at Wollaton Park with another great line-up of Chefs.
Sunday welcomes the new Saturday Kitchen Chef and presenter Matt Tebutt who will be headlining, along with support from Chantelle Nicholson. Joining them on both days are the Craft Beers Boys, who have drunk their way around the world and will be showing you lots of delicious ways to cook with beer.
They are joined by a host of other fantastic chefs over the weekend in our Food Roadshow. Local foodie and presenter, Tanya Louise, will welcome on stage the Crabstock Boys with their tales of the sea, whilst Linda Hewitt will be showing you how simple it really can be to bake. This year we are also proud to be joined by local chefs, including the head chef of Ye Olde Bell, Tim Stamp, Nottingham Playhouse head chef, Liam Woodward and award winning butcher Johnny Pusztai. Dare you try our Bushtucker Challenge? The popular event returns to the Food Roadshow for those brave enough to give it go!
Get ready to travel the world without leaving Nottingham and the hefty price of a plane ticket by visiting our Piazza where you can enjoy global cuisine. A large central area offering both outdoor and covered seating, you can choose from a vast array of street food, real ales, ciders and wine.
Relax and unwind to the strands of live jazz with the Bill Bailey Band, who specialise in New Orleans, Traditional & Dixieland Styles
Be tempted – take home a memento from the food halls, stock the freezer or cellar, all from the fine array of food and drink from local and national food producers, available for you to buy.
Dotted around the show are all sorts of interesting features, Crafts Corner has live demonstrations of Glassblowing, Chainsaw Carving and working Blacksmiths just to mention a few
There is fun for all the family too with Children’s Workshops and activities..
