YNot was, without doubt, one of the stand out festivals of last Summer – despite the horrific downpour that made it an almost washout – with a huge swathe of Nottingham musicians performing stunning sets across the weekend – check out our review here.
Now the first announcement has been made with regards to the line up for this year and, though there are, as yet, no Nottingham acts on the bill, it’s looking like being a top weekend once again in the Derbyshire hills.
Headliners announced for YNot 2014 are DIZZIE RASCAL and WHITE LIES, while also announced today were THE FRATELLIS, NEWTON FAULKNER, REEL BIG FISH, ANDREW W.K and many many more.
With ten stages of great music this is just the start of what should be a stellar line up, and we’d expect to see a number of Nottingham acts join the line up later in the year, following the likes of Saint Raymond, Georgie Rose, Josh Kemp, Leah Sinead and more who all played last year.

Talking about the announcement festival organiser Simon Mawby said:
“We are so excited with our first announcement and are welcoming some of the biggest
names we’ve ever had to our stages. The best part is this is just the beginning, with another headliner and hundreds more acts to come. It will truly be the best value Y Not ever.”
