Over 100 unique pieces of art, including exclusive pieces by celebrities, will be available for purchase this month (22 November) in a bid to support Nottingham Cancer Research Special Events Committee’s Twenty20 art auction and exhibition.

Commercial property agency Innes England is supporting the artistic event, with its managing director Tim Garratt donating one of his own original photographs, entitled Guernsey Fire Storm (lot 115).

Sir Paul Smith, Sat Bains, Hugh Grant and Carl Froch are just a few of the celebrities who have submitted pieces of art to the auction, all of which will be sold to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Tim said: “Cancer Research UK undertakes vital work and we are proud to be supporting this auction. We hope the auction will raise much-needed funds for the charity.”

The varied artwork, donated by local amateur and professional artists as well as famous names, is being auctioned online until 22 November. There will then be a live auction of 38 artworks only on 23 November at Nottingham Contemporary.

Prior to the auction, the artwork will be on display at a free pop-up exhibition at David Lloyd in West Bridgford, from 19-20 November, from 10am until 4pm.
