FESTIVE SKATING SESSIONS EVERY DAY OF THE WEEK 2 DEC – 3 JAN
SKATING AND REINDEER EXPERIENCES 21-23 DEC
Join us this Christmas for a magical skating experience on the biggest indoor ice rink around! With festive skating sessions every single day, a whole host of special themed events and parties, plus a chance to skate on our Christmas rink and meet some of Santa’s reindeer, the National Ice Centre is the place to be!
This year, Santa’s arranged for several of his reindeer to visit the National Ice Centre between 21-23 December, and anyone that books a festive skate at the National Ice Centre on those dates will get to visit the reindeer for free!
Santa’s reindeer and Christmas elves will be on Bolero Square outside the National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham from 10am – 4pm on 21, 22 and 23 December. Anyone that books a skate on those dates can visit Santa’s reindeer before or after their skating session. The experience will include the opportunity to pet, feed, and take pictures with the reindeer. Delicious hot drinks and mince pies will also be served out on Bolero Square, and special reindeer merchandise will be available to purchase – it’s the perfect treat for the family before the big day!
The skating and reindeer experience will be available to pre-book online via national-ice-centre.com from 9am on Monday 7 November. Booking is strongly advised. The free reindeer visit is included with every ice skating ticket purchased at the standard skating price on 21, 22 and 23 December only. All other National Ice Centre skating sessions and parties can also be pre-booked online from this date.
Inside, the National Ice Centre’s dazzling Christmas rink, which gets underway from 2 December, will be adorned with hundreds of Christmas lights and a huge tree, plus we’ll be playing all of your favourite festive songs!
We’ll also be hosting several exciting Christmas skating events and parties as detailed below:
· Parent & Toddler sessions – various dates & times – we have skates from baby size 5!
· Ice Wars (skate with Star Wars characters) on 15 December (7:30pm-9:30pm)
· UV Paint Party Club session on 16 December (7:30pm-10pm)
· Skate with Santa and Friends on 17 December (10am-12pm)
· Skate with the Nottingham Panthers on 21 December (7:30pm-9:30pm) Please note, Panthers players will be on the ice 7:30pm-8:30pm
· Skate with a Princess on 28 December (4:45pm-6:30pm)
· Family Foam Party on 30 December (4:45pm-6:30pm)
· Club Foam Party on 30 December (7:30pm-10pm)
With a large indoor Olympic sized ice rink, there’s plenty of room to skate with friends, family and colleagues, whatever the weather this Christmas. Prices start from £6.50 for adults and family passes are available from £27 for a family of four.
Festive food and drinks will be available and seasonal treats can be enjoyed in the Sub Zero café before, during or after skating.
The Christmas skating experience will run until 3 January 2017.
