Announced: Culture Club announce Arena Date

Get your glad rags on because 80’s music legends CULTURE CLUB have announced a date at the Capital FM Arena as part of their winter tour that will see the original line up performing across the UK for the first time in 15 years.

Fronted by the iconic Boy George, Culture Club were one of the biggest names in pop during the eighties racking up over 100 million single sales and 50 million albums. The band notched up SEVEN straight top ten hits in the UK as well as top selling singles in over a dozen countries thanks to hits like Karma Chameleon and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me. The band also picked up a Grammy Award for Best New Artists in 1983 and became the first band since The Beatles to have three Top 10 hits in America from a debut album – hell Boy George even found time in all that to pop up in 80’s TV mega show The A-Team.

Now the original band, Mikey Craig (bass guitar), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards). Jon Moss (drums and percussion) plus of course flamboyant lead singer Boy George, will be taking to the stage once more and rolling back the years for a series of sure to be sell-out shows, including a date at the Capital FM Arena on December 6.

Joining the band on the tour will be very special guest and fellow musical icon ALISON MOYET who last year hit the Top 5 in the UK Album chart with the release of electro album ‘the Minutes’.

Tickets for this huge show go on sale this Friday, 23 May, priced at £43.12 and £54.32 (including admin fee) for more information visit the official Capital FM Arena website
